Franck Deville has chosen a fine location to present its macarons: Attimi di Gusto in via Correnti 20, Milan. In this restaurant one can sample every kind of pleasure for the palate. We are not talking of simple desserts, but mini version of taste's masterpieces .
Monsieur Deville,  famous pastry chef,  stands proud and smiling behind the counter, fiddling with a sac à poche to compose macarons with the typical french touch . Small blue eyes move rapidly following the movement of the hands: open the meringues, place the filling, close and place the macarons - as a work of art.

Macarons: Italian origin with a French name. It seems that it was the chefs of Caterina de' Medici to export these small works of pastry to France in the fourteenth century. The name derives from the term "Maccarone" intending to recall the rounded shape of the eponymous pasta type.

Their ancestors would be the italian "amaretti": the same ingredients but with a different process. From a skilful combination of egg white, almond flour, granulated sugar and water, it comes the perfection of the French meringue, crunchy on the outside but soft in the heart! All the guests were delighted, as well as hungry, by the history and curiosities related to the famous french desserts.
The macarons are  moments of pleasure that melt in your mouth. Two small round joined by soft filling.
A living experience, now also in Milan.
Recommended for those who like to picnic in a non-trivial way.
